What a good media kit includes
A media kit is a short summary of who you are and what a brand gets by working with you. Guides agree on the same core pieces, and this generator covers each of them:
- A short bio — who you are, what you make and who watches it.
- Your key numbers — followers and, just as important, engagement rate for each platform.
- Your audience — age, gender and where they live. Brands use this to judge fit.
- Past work — brands you have worked with, and pictures of your best content.
- Your rates — optional, and covered below.
- How to reach you — one email or link, so they can act straight away.
For most small and mid-size creators, one page is enough. Brands look first at engagement, then your audience, then past results, so keep those easy to find.
How to use it
- Fill in what you have. Skip anything you do not want to show — empty sections disappear.
- Check the preview. Make sure the numbers are current and the contact details are right.
- Download the PDF. Choose “Save as PDF” in the window that opens.
- Send it with your pitch. Attach it or link it, and use the Brand Pitch Generator to write the message.
Tips for a kit brands will trust
- Use real, recent numbers. Take them from Instagram Insights or YouTube Studio, and update them every month or after a big change.
- Show engagement, not just followers. A modest audience that reacts beats a large one that scrolls past.
- Put rates in — or don’t. Some guides say to include your rates so nobody has to ask; others say to share them on request. Both work. Leave the rates empty to hide the section.
- Match the look to your content. Pick the colour that suits your style.
- Mention paid work clearly. If a brand paid or sent products, say so when you post — India’s ad rules cover gifted products too.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save it as a PDF?
Click “Download PDF”. A new window opens with your kit and the print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. On a phone, use the share or print option and choose “Save to Files”. If nothing opens, allow pop-ups for this site and try again.
Is my information stored?
Not on our servers — the kit is built in your browser and your pictures are never uploaded. If you tick “Remember my details on this device”, they are saved in your own browser only, and you can delete them any time. The “Fill in from my profile” button reads your own RelayCollab profile from your account.
How long should a media kit be?
One page is enough for most small and mid-size creators. Larger creators with many platforms and a long list of collaborations sometimes use two or three pages. This generator makes a one-page kit and flows onto a second page if you add a lot.
Where do I find my audience numbers?
On Instagram with a professional account, open Insights and then Audience. On YouTube, open YouTube Studio, then Analytics, then Audience. Use the top age group, the gender split and your top locations.
Should I put my rates in the kit?
It is your choice. Listing them saves brands a question and speeds things up. Leaving them out lets you quote each brand separately. If you are unsure of your numbers, try the Influencer Rate Calculator first.
Why is there a RelayCollab credit at the bottom?
A small credit line keeps these tools free. Everything else on the kit is yours.
Can I change it after I download?
Yes. Come back, edit and download again. If you ticked “Remember my details on this device”, your kit will still be here.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The form and preview work on any screen. For the PDF, use your phone’s print or share option and save to Files.
